On September 11, our cross-border community will gather at Peace Arch Park to remember the lives lost, honor those who served, and reflect on the courage and sacrifice shown on September 11, 2001.

This year’s 9/11 Cross-Border Remembrance Ceremony will welcome four New York City first responders who served on that day as special guests.

The observance will include a U.S. Homeland Security helicopter flyby, the Canadian and U.S. national anthems performed by the Van City Chorus led by Donny Rose, motorcycle and vehicle processions arriving at the Peace Arch, and memorial tributes honoring those who lost their lives and those who answered the call to serve.

For 25 years, the Peace Arch has stood as a meaningful place for Americans and Canadians to come together in remembrance.

We invite our community to join us on September 11 at Peace Arch Park as we pause, remember, and honor.
