Shuck Yeah! It’s Back! The 3rd Annual Blaine OysterFest!!

Get ready to dive into a sea of flavor and fun at the 3rd Annual Blaine OysterFest! Join us on Saturday, October 12, for a shell celebration featuring the freshest, juiciest oysters from Drayton Harbor Oyster Co.

Come early to kick-start your OysterFest morning with Specialty Coffee in the DHO’s Farm Store and purchase your OysterFest Tickets as early as 8 AM. It’s going to be a day brimming with flavor, fun, and festivity.

Think you can shuck it? Drayton Harbor Oyster staff will compete to see who is the Shucking Champ! And for the kids’, there’s going to be a Oyster EggHunt! And take advantage of the live music that’ll keep your toes tappin’ and spirits high all day long. Music lineup for OysterFest on H Street will be:
• Doug Allen and Friends, 10:30 -1:00
   • Monk Slipper Jazz Quartet, 1:30-3:30
   • Penny Stinkers, 4:00- 7:00

Enjoy an all-ages beer garden with chilled beer, wine and ciders. And come hungry! The OysterFest menu is packed with a lot of yummy surprises:

• delicious deep-cupped Drayton Harbor Oyster’s grilled with toppings of Savory, Sweet-N-Smoky, Bacon Blu and of course the Chef’s Surprise!
• DHO’s Oyster Chowder
• Southern Oyster Roast
• Drayton Seafood Boil
• Fresh, shucked Oysters
• Shrimp Tacos & More!

We are having TWO hunts this year. Read carefully.

HUNT 1:  for people interested in supporting small, local business (our personal jam), see the photo for the 15 downtown core businesses participating in the INDOOR hunt! If you search for these eggs, we ask you SUPPORT THEM while you’re there. Buy a treat, snack, drink or souvenir while searching. Even better if you share your purchase to your social and tag us.

Rules:

1. Hunt begins Saturday morning! Business hours vary. Check them in advance.

2. Have to be 21+ to enter the wheelhouse.

3. ONE EGG PER PERSON, to make sure we’re sharing the wealth.

4. Bring your oyster egg to a ticket booth at DHO to redeem your prize.

5. Have a shuckin’ blast! Enjoy the company, your community and all that it has to offer.
