A New Parade Route to Remember

For the first time in over two decades, the heartbeat of Blaine’s 4th of July celebration—the Grand Parade—will pulsate through a direction. Beginning at Boblett Street, the parade will weave northward, concluding grandly at F Street. This change is not just about managing the swelling crowds, which are expected to reach up to 17,000 this year; it’s a reimagining of our town’s space, allowing every participant a front-row seat to the spectacle and pageantry that define our Independence Day.

A Toast to Freedom: The Inaugural Beer Garden

Adding a frothy layer of excitement to this year’s lineup is the introduction of a family-friendly beer garden located at G Street Plaza. From 1:30 pm to 9:00 pm, revelers can enjoy craft beers under the sun and stars, punctuated by the melodies of three live bands and the beats of a local DJ. It’s more than just a place to sip beer; memories will be made, laughter will be shared, and the spirit of Independence Day will be toasted until the fireworks light up the night sky over Semiahmoo Bay.

A day brimming with other patriotic activities to enjoy:

• Pancake Breakfast 8-11 AM: Start your day with a stack of golden pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and a side of community warmth. Held in the heart of downtown, it’s the perfect beginning to a day of celebration.
