The City of Blaine will host a day-long festival at Blaine Marina Park at I-5 exit 276 at the US/Canada International border. Blaine Marine Park offers waterfront views of Semiahmoo Resort, Mount Baker, and White Rock, BC. The Bellingham Scottish Gathering festival celebrates Scotland’s culture and has planned special events to highlight Blaine’s By the Sea theme. The festival will showcase Scotland’s working harbors that mirror the active fishing and boating communities of Blaine.
Bellingham Scottish Gathering is thrilled to announce some exciting news for the Highland Dancing Community. For the first time, the Bellingham Open Highland Dancing Championship will be a feature of the 2024 Highland Games. The championship has been newly sanctioned by the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing, so we are looking forward to welcoming competitors to this prestigious competition. The location will attract international visitors; we can’t wait to see the amazing talent on display.

Children under age 5: No charge
*Ticket cost includes riding the ferry over to Semiahmoo Resort Dock. The ferry will run from 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM.
PARKING
Designated parking in Blaine will be at:
• Duty Free parking lot on 2nd St. by Namaste The Royal Taste Of India.
• Grace Lutheran Church ( 702 G St.) by Blaine Senior Activity Center.
• Designated Parking next to Blaine Public Library (at G and 3rd St.)
• Parking is available at the field on Semiahmoo Spit.
The Koinonia will ferry Scottish Gathering ticket holders to and from the athletic competitions on Semiahmoo Spit. It will start at 8:15 am from the Semiahmoo Dock with the last run at 5:45 pm.
The Red Bus shuttle will run all day between Grace Lutheran Church, Blaine Welcome Center and the Duty Free to Blaine Marine Park. Please click on the link below to view the MAP.
