Step back in time and gather ‘round for a proud and patriotic moment at Tuttle & Crump’s Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration as we honor America’s 250th birthday with a public reading of the Declaration of Independence.
At 11:50 AM, just before the Grand Parade, join us at the H Street & Peace Portal Drive Announcer Podium as the words that helped launch a nation are read aloud in the heart of downtown Blaine by the Sea.
On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, proclaiming the thirteen American colonies’ bold vision of liberty, self-government, and the pursuit of happiness. Two hundred and fifty years later, we come together along Peace Portal Drive to remember that historic moment and celebrate the enduring spirit of freedom, community, and country.
Bring your family, wave the red, white, and blue, and be part of this special America 250 tribute as Blaine celebrates Independence Day in true hometown style.
Declaration of Independence Reading by Jeremiah Ramsey.
