Get ready to party!

Blaine has the biggest 4th of July celebration in Whatcom County, drawing thousands of festival-goers for this day-long Independence Day celebration. The day is jam-packed full of family fun activities that have something for everyone to enjoy, all the way to the evening spectacular fireworks finale over Semiahmoo Bay. So mark your calendars and join us here in Blaine by the sea for an “Independence Day Party!” It’s sure to be a blast!

4th of July Romeo & Juliet Water Balloon Show!

Visit the Blaine Community Theater booth at the 4th of July Street Fair if you’re looking for a wet and fun way to celebrate the holiday. They’ll be performing the “Romeo and Juliet Water Balloon Show” multiple times throughout the day, and you can even purchase water balloons to toss at the actors! It’s sure to be a blast. And if that’s not enough excitement for you, Blaine Community Theater will also announce their upcoming season schedule of performances on July 4th. Join Blaine’s Community Theater on July 4th for some wet and wild fun!

4th of July Celebrations at Semiahmoo Resort

Celebrate Independence Day all weekend at Semiahmoo Resort with activities for the entire family! Hotel guests and the local community are invited to join in the celebration.

  • Live Music
    Enjoy seaside performances by local artists with a stunning water view backdrop. Friday & Saturday from 6 pm to 9 pm or Sunday from 4 pm to 7 pm.
  • Monday – July 4th  Fireworks from the Pier
    Watch the fireworks from the west pier (outside Packers Kitchen + Bar) Seating is available first come first serve to start at 9 pm, and is $25/ chair. While you watch, enjoy popcorn and Hot Cocoa or celebrate with sparklers and glow sticks, available to purchase on the dock.
