Phase 2 has started, but downtown Blaine is Open!
The Downtown Revitalization Project is in full swing, and construction is moving to Phase 2, which means that Peace Portal Drive will be closed between Martin and G Streets. However, public access points will remain available during this phase.
We understand that the word “construction” often brings thoughts of detours, scaffolding, and inconvenience. But here in Blaine by the Sea, the spirit of our bustling downtown is alive and well. Your favorite cafés, boutiques, and family-run restaurants are open and ready to welcome you, demonstrating that community resilience is stronger than a few orange cones.
