The Bellingham Scottish Gathering is a celebration of Scotland’s culture. Blaine’s ‘ By the Sea’ theme is the focus of special events planned for the festival. The working harbors of Scotland are mirrored in the city’s active fishing and boating communities. The Scottish Dance Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation based in Bellingham, Washington. The Society is dedicated to honoring the traditions of Scottish dance and sustaining the cultural performing art form through educational endeavors, activities and events.
